Wanshou Gongyuan (Beijing)

Wanshou provides winding paths and lots of trees to shade you while you dream. Hibiscus line the northern edge softening the old row houses that back onto this park. As in many Beijing parks, Wanshou has senior citizen activity centers.







 
 

Hayarkon Park (Tel Aviv)

One of Tel Aviv's largest public parks, it boasts exotic gardens and a huge playground in its 1,000 acres of green meadows. The multitude of activities for all the family includes mini golf, tandem bike rentals and pony rides, as well as mini train rides through the park to the Puppet Theatre. Feed the ducks and swans amongst exotic plants and rare cacti in the gardens, which are situated alongside the colorful Bird Safari Zoo. Sailing on the Genai Yehoshua lake is a fun pastime for kids and adults, and the Memadion water park provides non-stop fun.
